Cadillac Formula 1 Team at our Silverstone facility. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team working across the Model Shop and Wind Tunnel environments to manufacture, assemble, and test high-quality components for aerodynamic development and wind tunnel testing.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture wind tunnel model parts and assemblies to the highest standards while meeting demanding project deadlines
Support the Model Shop team in managing workloads and achieving departmental targets
Build and maintain complex mechanical assemblies for wind tunnel models
Identify technical issues and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
Collaborate with Model Design Engineers to improve the efficiency, functionality, and quality of model changes and components
Support and maintain Health & Safety standards within the working environment
Travel regularly as required to support team activities and testing operations

REQUIREMENTS

What do we need from you?

Proven experience in wind tunnel model preparation and wind tunnel testing
Background in model-making within a high-performance motorsport environment
Good understanding of mechanical installations and assemblies
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
A positive approach and commitment to contributing to an open, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
