More about the opportunity

This role reports on our US HQ’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. In this role, you will manage financial journals, data entry, reconciliations, and assist with month-end processes. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing financial reports and perform analysis to support decision-making.

  • Contribute to the preparation of periodic accounts, reconciling balance sheets and ensuring group reporting is submitted accurately and timely
  • Working alongside the US Financial Accountant to implement finance processes at our US HQ – aligning to those in our UK Operations and ensuring they are streamlined, scalable, accurate and documented clearly to be digested by other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with departments to gather data and verify financial transactions
  • Operate day to day accounting – assisting with billing, accounts receivable, expense processing, cost accounting
  • Assist with external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Support financial analysis activities to assist in decision-making
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal use and management review
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within financial processes

What do we need from you?

  • CPA Qualified or equivalent
  • High attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and procedures
  • High resilience with experience in working in a changeable environment with competing deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS
  • Experience in an organization that conducts internal manufacturing
