The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming seasons of the FIA Formula 1® World Championship. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are assembling a team of exceptional talent to fulfill our ambitious vision. As part of this endeavor, we are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist (Turning) to join our esteemed team based in Silverstone.

As a CNC Machinist specializing in Turning, you will play a pivotal role in the production of precision components essential for our high-performance racing cars. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and competitiveness of the Cadillac Formula 1® Team.

Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high-precision metallic components in compliance with exacting specifications
Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks on finished components to ensure adherence to defined standards
Collaborate effectively with design engineers and fellow machinists to improve manufacturing processes and optimize production techniques
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of all machining activities performed
Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Driven by high performanceWhat do you need to bring to the team?

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist focused on Turning operations, preferably within a motorsport or precision engineering setting
Strong background in CNC turning processes, tooling selection, and machine maintenance
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings and specifications
Ability to utilize measurement tools and equipment for quality assurance processes
Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under pressure
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration
Familiarity with advanced CNC controls and programming languages
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, HyperMill would be an advantage
Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards in the workplace
Capability to manage time effectively to meet production deadlines
Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements
