Working at the forefront of motorsport innovation, you will own the design and detailing of gearbox components and complete transmission systems — from initial concept through to racetrack performance. This involves:

  • Engineering and packaging high-performance transmission systems, including metallic and composite components
  • Influencing and guiding design, feasibility, compliance documentation, and assembly
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional departments to optimize integration, ensure reliability, and uphold the highest quality standards in design and manufacturing

What do you need to bring to the team?

Experience in high-performance motorsport or automotive engineering is essential, preferably in Formula 1®, WEC, Indy Car or similar categories. You must also have:

  • BEng / MEng in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar technical discipline
  • Proven experience in the end-to-end design and packaging of precision gearbox and transmission systems under high load and temperature environments
  • Strong proficiency in CAD (preferably Siemens NX or CATIA 3DX), with in-depth knowledge of GD&T and complex tolerance stacks
  • Sound understanding of structural design, rotating systems, lubrication and FIA technical regulations
  • Experience with carbon composite gearbox housings and hybrid system integration is desirable
